We offer a full service, with a free first consultation followed by the preparation of plans for planning permission and building regulations approval (including structural calculations etc., where necessary).
The first step is usually an evening meeting to discuss the project. Following this we will provide the information you need in order to decide whether to proceed. We'll give you a budget estimate of the likely cost of the project plus a detailed breakdown of the costs involved in the next steps. Usually these are;
Survey. A site visit to take all relevant measurements (and photos as necessary).
Preparation and presentation of preliminary drawings, together with an updated estimate of likely costs.
Revision of drawings as required (with further amendments to cost predictions).
Submission of applications for planning permission (where required) and building regulations approval.
Once all permissions have been obtained we would normally aim to provide a fully itemised quotation for the work, including details of stage payments. If a contract is then agreed for the work, there would be no deposit to pay and you would only be billed at each stage for work completed to date.
